Life: Through the lens of mental health

E16 Higher Education with Dr. Ed Cabellon

Getting there and staying there

The road to a post-high school (or higher) education can, at times, feel like a 2-year rollercoaster. The applying, the waiting, the guessing, the advocating, etc., etc. Then once you're there the challenge is to thrive. Thrive in the way that you define it. Are there strategies to make this whole process easier? Noooo, we are not referring to buying your way into a university illegally! How has student engagement changed in the last 20 years? What are the indicators of success in college?

Join Shmuel (www.cbtbaltimore.com) and Dr. Ed Cabellon (https://edcabellon.com/) as they discuss these questions and more. Dr. Cabellon has been involved in higher education for over 20 years and is currently the Vice President of student enrollment at Curry College in Massachusets https://www.curry.edu/directory/cabellon-edmund.

Enjoy! Don't forget to recommend the pod to your neighbors, friends, and Tik Tok followers :)

Mental health is everywhere. Period. The human experience; work, hobbies, interests, entertainment, challenges, relationships etc. is unique and seen through our own individual 'lenses'. Take a journey through these experiences together with a mental health professional (me!), his dry wit, and guests from across the landscape of everyday life he convinced to join him as they have candid conversations- all through the lens of mental health. Almost like you do...but recorded. No corn or dads were harmed during production. Obvious statement: Listening to this podcast, while meaningful and entertaining, does not come close to replacing professional support. Please feel encouraged to seek proper care if you are struggling. Please do not take us super seriously...we don't :) We can always be reached at www.cbtbaltimore.com
